CALIFORNIA PRIVACY NOTICES:

  • I. California Privacy Notice: Business

i. Notice Overview

This California Privacy Notice applies to California residents and outlines how HH INTERNET LLC (the “Company”, “we”, “us”) collects, uses, processes, retains, maintains, shares, and discloses (collectively “use” or “uses”) your personal information (term used as defined in the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended or supplemented by the California Privacy Rights Act of 2020).

We use your personal information in accordance with applicable law and our own internal privacy processing policies. This California Privacy Notice, covers California residents whose personal information is used in connection with or arising from the operation of our business. For the purposes of this California Privacy Notice, these parties will be referred to as “Commercial Contacts”, which includes the following individuals:

  • Those who are acting as, or on behalf of, a current or former Company client, supplier, vendor, or third-party service provider

  • Those participating in programs offered or operated by the Company related to marketing, business operations, community outreach, and/or charity

  • Members, owners, investors, business contacts, government officials, spokespeople, and other third parties who interact with Company

Certain terms used in this California Privacy Notice that are otherwise undefined shall have the meanings set forth in the CCPA.

ii. Notices Concerning Collection of Personal Information and Use of Such Information

In order for us to fulfill certain services, meet certain legal requirements, manage our business, and operate our business in its ordinary course, we may need to collect and/or use certain of your personal information.  A summary of our current practices concerning use of personal information is provided below.

Company may collect the following categories of personal information about Commercial Contacts.

  • Network and Internet Activity such as activities or actions occurring while using our Website and/or Company networks

  • Geolocation Data

  • Observable Audio and Visual Information such as audio, visual, digital, or similar information

  • Inferences of Conclusions that can be made concerning any of the above.

iv. Why We Collect Personal Information

We may use the personal information of Commercial Contacts for the following reasons:

  • To prospect, initiate, maintain, terminate, or otherwise manage a business relationships

  • To establish a point of contact for communication purposes

  • To ensure compliance with Company’s internal record keeping and information security requirements, policies, and procedures

  • To identify, detect, or prevent theft or fraud, and to protect information used by the Company

  • To plan, conduct, and perform inquiries and investigations

  • To aid law enforcement and respond to or fulfill legal and/or regulatory inquiries

  • For other legally permissible business purposes determined in the Company’s sole and reasonable discretion

WE DO NOT PROCESS SENSITIVE PERSONAL INFORMATION FOR THE PURPOSES OF MAKING ANY INFERENCES AS TO CHARACTERISTICS ABOUT COMMERCIAL CONTACTS.

We may process data based on your information that is void of any specific identifiable characteristics or traits. If we choose to use this this de-identified data, we will maintain this data in its deidentified form, and no attempts will be made to reidentify any such data unless permissible under applicable law.

v. Personal Information Retention

Your personal information may be retained by Company in compliance with our record keeping policies, safeguards, and applicable legal requirements. Unless otherwise required by law, we will retain the personal information we collect about you for a period of time reasonably necessary to achieve our commercial purposes as set forth in this Privacy Policy, or for a period of time as set forth in a notice of collection provided to you at the time personal information is collected.

vi. How We Collect Personal Information

Company may collect personal information concerning our Commercial Contacts from the following sources:

  • Directly from a Commercial Contact (i.e., email, using our Website, submission of such information, or other direct contact)

  • Your device(s) 

  • Social media platforms and networks

  • Commercial Contacts

  • References

  • Our agents, affiliates, and/or subsidiaries

  • Government entities 

  • Third-party service providers, vendors, or contractors who render services for or on behalf of the Company

We may disclose the following categories of personal information about Commercial Contacts to the categories of third parties set forth below:

We may also disclose personal information about Commercial Contacts to third parties in connection with certain transactions, including, but not limited to, transactions involving the sale of part of, all of, or substantially all of the Company’s assets or ownership interests. 

We do not share or sell personal information to third parties concerning our Commercial Contacts for cross-context behavioral advertising purposes.

viii. California Privacy Rights

Please be advised that Commercial Contacts have the following rights:

  • Access: You have the right to request a report that includes the personal information or categories of personal information we have collected, used, disclosed, and sold or shared about you. You may make such a request twice in a 12-month period.

  • Correction: If it comes to your attention that certain information we have collected or maintain about you is incorrect, you have the right to request that we correct that personal information. 

  • Deletion: You have the right to request that certain personal information we have collected from you be deleted.

ix. Verifying Requests.

In order to verify, process, and satisfy access, correction, and/or deletion requests, we will need certain information about you to verify (i) who is making such a request, (ii) what information we actively maintain about the party making the request, and (iii) depending on the request, verify that the request is legitimate and not fraudulent. Therefore, in connection with making any such request you will be required to submit certain information about yourself. We will fulfill your access, correction, and/or deletion request if we are able to locate and identify information about you. If we cannot verify your information, then you may be provided with a report that contains the categories of personal information we collect, use, disclose, and sell or share.

For security and identification verification purposes, authorized agents seeking to submit an access, correction or deletion request will be required to submit information in addition to certain information about the Commercial Contact for whom you are making a request.   Authorized agents also must complete a certification confirming and certifying that appropriate and valid authorizations are in place permitting such a request to be made on behalf of the Commercial Contact.

x. Non-Discrimination

Company will not discriminate against you or otherwise treat you differently because you have elected to exercise any rights provided under applicable law. You will not be denied products or services and you will not be charged different rates or prices for our Services if you make an access, correction, or deletion request.

  • II. California Employment and Independent Contractor Privacy Notice

i. Notice Overview

This California Privacy Notice applies to California residents and outlines how HH INTERNET LLC (the “Company”, “we”, “us”) collects, uses, processes, retains, maintains, shares, and discloses (collectively “use” or “uses”) your personal information (term used as defined in the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended or supplemented by the California Privacy Rights Act of 2020).

This California Privacy Notice applies and covers California residents who (collectively, Covered HR Individuals”):

  • have submitted or may submit an application for employment with the Company

  • are currently employed by the Company

  • are former employees of the Company

  • are beneficiaries or emergency contacts of one or more current or former employees of the Company;

  • receive insurance or other benefits through a Company employee; or

  • are independent contractors who perform services at, for, or on behalf of the Company

If you provide another person’s personal information for the purposes of obtaining insurance, listing a party as a beneficiary, or for other purposes, please note that it is your responsibility to provide this California Privacy Notice to any such individual.

Certain terms used in this California Privacy Notice that are otherwise undefined shall have the meanings set forth in the CCPA.

ii. Notices Concerning Collection Personal Information and Use of Such Information

We may need to collect and use your personal information in connection with your employment, retention, or your activities with, for, or on behalf the Company in the capacity of an independent contractor. This information may be used for certain business purposes such as establishing, maintaining, managing, terminating, or otherwise maintaining our relationship with you. We may also use your personal information for internal operational purposes or to comply with certain legal and regulatory requirements.

Company may collect the following categories of personal information about Covered HR Individuals.

  • Network and Internet Activity such as activities or actions occurring while using our Website and/or Company networks

iv. Why We Collect Personal Information

We may use the personal information of Covered HR Individuals for the following reasons:

  • To determine whether candidates or other individuals are eligible for employment,

  • To verify experience, references, qualifications, licenses, credentials, and education

  • To prospect, initiate, maintain, terminate, or otherwise manage an employment relationship

  • To provide payment and benefits

  • To handle and process work-related claims

  • To develop, improve, and provide training and promotional opportunities

  • To assess and review work performance

  • To establish quotas, performance goals, and job qualifications

  • To establish emergency and other contacts

  • To ensure compliance with applicable labor and employment requirements, regulations, and laws

  • To generate contact information lists for administrative purposes

  • To ensure compliance with Company’s internal privacy practices, policies, and procedures

  • To protect information collected and maintained by the Company

  • For the purposes of conducting, participating in, or complying with investigations or inquiries

  • To aid law enforcement and respond to or fulfill legal and/or regulatory inquiries

  • Log, Fulfill, and manage orders and purchases for Company products and services

  • To allow for and promote public outreach and volunteer work

  • To promote diversity and inclusion within the Company

  • For other legally permissible business purposes determined in the Company’s sole and reasonable discretion

Please note that we may not be able to delete certain types of personal information if prohibited by applicable law. We will comply with all reasonable requests concerning access, correction, or deletion as long as compliance is legally permissible under applicable law.
